| 2 which Jeremiah the prophet spoke to all the people of Judah, and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying: | B EShR DBR IRMIAU ANBIE OL-KL-OM IAUDA UEL KL-IShBI IRUShLM LEMR | ב אשר דבר ירמיהו הנביא על-כל-עם יהודה ואל כל-ישבי ירושלם לאמר | ||

| 4 IAUA has sent to you all His servants the prophets, sending them betimes and often--but you have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear-- | D UShLCh IAUA ELIKM ETh-KL-OBDIU ANBEIM AShKM UShLCh ULE ShMOThM ULE-ATIThM ETh-EZNKM LShMO | ד ושלח יהוה אליכם את-כל-עבדיו הנבאים השכם ושלח ולא שמעתם ולא-הטיתם את-אזנכם לשמע | ||
| 5 saying: 'Return you now every one from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that IAUA has given to you and to your fathers, for ever and ever; | A LEMR ShUBU-NE EISh MDRKU AROA UMRO MOLLIKM UShBU OL-AEDMA EShR NThN IAUA LKM ULEBUThIKM LMN-OULM UOD-OULM | ה לאמר שובו-נא איש מדרכו הרעה ומרע מעלליכם ושבו על-האדמה אשר נתן יהוה לכם ולאבותיכם למן-עולם ועד-עולם | ||
| 6 and go not after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, and provoke Me not with the work of your hands, and I will do you no hurt.' | U UEL-ThLKU EChRI ELAIM EChRIM LOBDM ULAShThChUTh LAM ULE-ThKOISU EUThI BMOShA IDIKM ULE ERO LKM | ו ואל-תלכו אחרי אלהים אחרים לעבדם ולהשתחות להם ולא-תכעיסו אותי במעשה ידיכם ולא ארע לכם | ||
| 7 Yet you have not hearkened to Me, says IAUA; that you might provoke Me with the work of your hands to your own hurt. | Z ULE-ShMOThM ELI NEM-IAUA LMON AKOSUNI (AKOISNI) BMOShA IDIKM LRO LKM | ז ולא-שמעתם אלי נאם-יהוה למען הכעסוני (הכעיסני) במעשה ידיכם לרע לכם | ||
| 8 Therefore thus says IAUA of hosts: Because you have not heard My words, | Ch LKN KA EMR IAUA TsBEUTh ION EShR LE-ShMOThM ETh-DBRI | ח לכן כה אמר יהוה צבאות יען אשר לא-שמעתם את-דברי | ||
| 9 behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, says IAUA, and I will send to Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, My servant, and will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations round about; and I will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and a hissing, and perpetual desolations. | T ANNI ShLCh ULQChThI ETh-KL-MShFChUTh TsFUN NEM-IAUA UEL-NBUKDRETsR MLK-BBL OBDI UABEThIM OL-AERTs AZETh UOL-IShBIA UOL KL-AGUIM AELA SBIB UAChRMThIM UShMThIM LShMA ULShRQA ULChRBUTh OULM | ט הנני שלח ולקחתי את-כל-משפחות צפון נאם-יהוה ואל-נבוכדראצר מלך-בבל עבדי והבאתים על-הארץ הזאת ועל-ישביה ועל כל-הגוים האלה סביב והחרמתים ושמתים לשמה ולשרקה ולחרבות עולם | ||
| 10 Moreover I will cause to cease from among them the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the lamp. | I UAEBDThI MAM QUL ShShUN UQUL ShMChA QUL ChThN UQUL KLA QUL RChIM UEUR NR | י והאבדתי מהם קול ששון וקול שמחה קול חתן וקול כלה קול רחים ואור נר | ||
| 11 This whole land shall be a desolation, and a waste; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years. | IE UAIThA KL-AERTs AZETh LChRBA LShMA UOBDU AGUIM AELA ETh-MLK BBL ShBOIM ShNA | יא והיתה כל-הארץ הזאת לחרבה לשמה ועבדו הגוים האלה את-מלך בבל שבעים שנה | ||
| 12 It shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, says IAUA, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans; and I will make it perpetual desolations. | IB UAIA KMLEUTh ShBOIM ShNA EFQD OL-MLK-BBL UOL-AGUI AAUE NEM-IAUA ETh-OUNM UOL-ERTs KShDIM UShMThI EThU LShMMUTh OULM | יב והיה כמלאות שבעים שנה אפקד על-מלך-בבל ועל-הגוי ההוא נאם-יהוה את-עונם ועל-ארץ כשדים ושמתי אתו לשממות עולם | ||
| 13 I will bring on that land all My words which I have pronounced against it, even all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah has prophesied against all the nations. | IG UABEUThI (UABEThI) OL-AERTs AAIE ETh-KL-DBRI EShR-DBRThI OLIA ETh KL-AKThUB BSFR AZA EShR-NBE IRMIAU OL-KL-AGUIM | יג והבאותי (והבאתי) על-הארץ ההיא את-כל-דברי אשר-דברתי עליה את כל-הכתוב בספר הזה אשר-נבא ירמיהו על-כל-הגוים | ||
| 14 For many nations and great kings shall make bondmen of them also; and I will recompense them according to their deeds, and according to the work of their own hands. | ID KI OBDU-BM GM-AMA GUIM RBIM UMLKIM GDULIM UShLMThI LAM KFOLM UKMOShA IDIAM | יד כי עבדו-בם גם-המה גוים רבים ומלכים גדולים ושלמתי להם כפעלם וכמעשה ידיהם | ||
| 15 For thus says IAUA, the God of Israel, to me: Take this cup of the wine of fury at My hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send you, to drink it. | TU KI KA EMR IAUA ELAI IShREL ELI QCh ETh-KUS AIIN AChMA AZETh MIDI UAShQIThA EThU ETh-KL-AGUIM EShR ENKI ShLCh EUThK ELIAM | טו כי כה אמר יהוה אלהי ישראל אלי קח את-כוס היין החמה הזאת מידי והשקיתה אתו את-כל-הגוים אשר אנכי שלח אותך אליהם | ||
| 16 They shall drink, and reel to and fro, and be like madmen, because of the sword that I will send among them.-- | TZ UShThU UAThGOShU UAThALLU MFNI AChRB EShR ENKI ShLCh BINThM | טז ושתו והתגעשו והתהללו מפני החרב אשר אנכי שלח בינתם | ||
| 17 Then took I the cup of IAUA's hand, and made all the nations to drink, to whom IAUA had sent me: | IZ UEQCh ETh-AKUS MID IAUA UEShQA ETh-KL-AGUIM EShR-ShLChNI IAUA ELIAM | יז ואקח את-הכוס מיד יהוה ואשקה את-כל-הגוים אשר-שלחני יהוה אליהם | ||
| 18 Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and the kings thereof, and the princes thereof, to make them an appalment, an astonishment, a hissing, and a curse; as it is this day; | ICh ETh-IRUShLM UETh-ORI IAUDA UETh-MLKIA ETh-ShRIA LThTh EThM LChRBA LShMA LShRQA ULQLLA KIUM AZA | יח את-ירושלם ואת-ערי יהודה ואת-מלכיה את-שריה לתת אתם לחרבה לשמה לשרקה ולקללה כיום הזה | ||
| 19 Pharaoh king of Egypt, and his servants, and his princes, and all his people; | IT ETh-FROA MLK-MTsRIM UETh-OBDIU UETh-ShRIU UETh-KL-OMU | יט את-פרעה מלך-מצרים ואת-עבדיו ואת-שריו ואת-כל-עמו | ||
| 20 and all the mingled people; and all the kings of the land of Uz, and all the kings of the land of the Philistines, and Ashkelon, and Gaza, and Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod; | K UETh KL-AORB UETh KL-MLKI ERTs AOUTs UETh KL-MLKI ERTs FLShThIM UETh-EShQLUN UETh-OZA UETh-OQRUN UETh ShERITh EShDUD | כ ואת כל-הערב ואת כל-מלכי ארץ העוץ ואת כל-מלכי ארץ פלשתים ואת-אשקלון ואת-עזה ואת-עקרון ואת שארית אשדוד | ||
| 21 Edom, and Moab, and the children of Ammon; | KE ETh-EDUM UETh-MUEB UETh-BNI OMUN | כא את-אדום ואת-מואב ואת-בני עמון | ||
| 22 and all the kings of Tyre, and all the kings of Zidon, and the kings of the isle which is beyond the sea; | KB UETh KL-MLKI-TsR UETh KL-MLKI TsIDUN UETh MLKI AEI EShR BOBR AIM | כב ואת כל-מלכי-צר ואת כל-מלכי צידון ואת מלכי האי אשר בעבר הים | ||
| 23 Dedan, and Tema, and Buz, and all that have the corners of their hair polled; | KG UETh-DDN UETh-ThIME UETh-BUZ UETh KL-QTsUTsI FEA | כג ואת-דדן ואת-תימא ואת-בוז ואת כל-קצוצי פאה | ||
| 24 and all the kings of Arabia, and all the kings of the mingled people that dwell in the wilderness; | KD UETh KL-MLKI ORB UETh KL-MLKI AORB AShKNIM BMDBR | כד ואת כל-מלכי ערב ואת כל-מלכי הערב השכנים במדבר | ||
| 25 and all the kings of Zimri, and all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of the Medes; | KA UETh KL-MLKI ZMRI UETh KL-MLKI OILM UETh KL-MLKI MDI | כה ואת כל-מלכי זמרי ואת כל-מלכי עילם ואת כל-מלכי מדי | ||
| 26 and all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another; and all the kingdoms of the world, which are on the face of the earth.--The king of Sheshach shall drink after them. | KU UETh KL-MLKI ATsFUN AQRBIM UARChQIM EISh EL-EChIU UETh KL-AMMLKUTh AERTs EShR OL-FNI AEDMA UMLK ShShK IShThA EChRIAM | כו ואת כל-מלכי הצפון הקרבים והרחקים איש אל-אחיו ואת כל-הממלכות הארץ אשר על-פני האדמה ומלך ששך ישתה אחריהם | ||
| 27 You shall say to them: Thus says IAUA of hosts, the God of Israel: Drink you, and be drunken, and spew, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you. | KZ UEMRTh ELIAM KA-EMR IAUA TsBEUTh ELAI IShREL ShThU UShKRU UQIU UNFLU ULE ThQUMU MFNI AChRB EShR ENKI ShLCh BINIKM | כז ואמרת אליהם כה-אמר יהוה צבאות אלהי ישראל שתו ושכרו וקיו ונפלו ולא תקומו מפני החרב אשר אנכי שלח ביניכם | ||
| 28 It shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at your hand to drink, then shall you say to them: Thus says IAUA of hosts: You shall surely drink. | KCh UAIA KI IMENU LQChTh-AKUS MIDK LShThUTh UEMRTh ELIAM KA EMR IAUA TsBEUTh ShThU ThShThU | כח והיה כי ימאנו לקחת-הכוס מידך לשתות ואמרת אליהם כה אמר יהוה צבאות שתו תשתו | ||
| 29 For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city whereon My name is called, and should you be utterly unpunished? You shall not be unpunished; for I will call for a sword on all the inhabitants of the earth, says IAUA of hosts. | KT KI ANA BOIR EShR NQRE-ShMI OLIA ENKI MChL LARO UEThM ANQA ThNQU LE ThNQU KI ChRB ENI QRE OL-KL-IShBI AERTs NEM IAUA TsBEUTh | כט כי הנה בעיר אשר נקרא-שמי עליה אנכי מחל להרע ואתם הנקה תנקו לא תנקו כי חרב אני קרא על-כל-ישבי הארץ נאם יהוה צבאות | ||
| 30 Therefore prophesy you against them all these words, and say to them: IAUA does roar from on high, and utter His voice from His holy habitation; He does mightily roar because of His fold; He gives a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth. | L UEThA ThNBE ELIAM ETh KL-ADBRIM AELA UEMRTh ELIAM IAUA MMRUM IShEG UMMOUN QDShU IThN QULU ShEG IShEG OL-NUAU AIDD KDRKIM IONA EL KL-IShBI AERTs | ל ואתה תנבא אליהם את כל-הדברים האלה ואמרת אליהם יהוה ממרום ישאג וממעון קדשו יתן קולו שאג ישאג על-נוהו הידד כדרכים יענה אל כל-ישבי הארץ | ||
| 31 A noise is come even to the end of the earth; for IAUA has a controversy with the nations, He does plead with all flesh; as for the wicked, He has given them to the sword, says IAUA. | LE BE ShEUN OD-QTsA AERTs KI RIB LIAUA BGUIM NShFT AUE LKL-BShR ARShOIM NThNM LChRB NEM-IAUA | לא בא שאון עד-קצה הארץ כי ריב ליהוה בגוים נשפט הוא לכל-בשר הרשעים נתנם לחרב נאם-יהוה | ||
| 32 Thus says IAUA of hosts: Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great storm shall be raised up from the uttermost parts of the earth. | LB KA EMR IAUA TsBEUTh ANA ROA ITsETh MGUI EL-GUI USOR GDUL IOUR MIRKThI-ERTs | לב כה אמר יהוה צבאות הנה רעה יצאת מגוי אל-גוי וסער גדול יעור מירכתי-ארץ | ||

| 36 Hark! the cry of the shepherds, and the wailing of the leaders of the flock! For IAUA despoils their pasture. | LU QUL TsOQTh AROIM UILLTh EDIRI ATsEN KI-ShDD IAUA ETh-MROIThM | לו קול צעקת הרעים ויללת אדירי הצאן כי-שדד יהוה את-מרעיתם | ||
