| 3 IAUA gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. | 4 Moses said: 'Thus says IAUA: About midnight will I go out into the middle of Egypt; | D UIEMR MShA KA EMR IAUA KChTsTh ALILA ENI IUTsE BThUK MTsRIM | ד ויאמר משה כה אמר יהוה כחצת הלילה אני יוצא בתוך מצרים | ||
| 5 and all the first-born in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first-born of Pharaoh that sits on his throne, even to the first-born of the maid-servant that is behind the mill; and all the first-born of cattle. | A UMTh KL-BKUR BERTs MTsRIM MBKUR FROA AIShB OL-KSEU OD BKUR AShFChA EShR EChR ARChIM UKL BKUR BAMA | ה ומת כל-בכור בארץ מצרים מבכור פרעה הישב על-כסאו עד בכור השפחה אשר אחר הרחים וכל בכור בהמה | ||
| 6 There shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there has been none like it, nor shall be like it any more. | U UAIThA TsOQA GDLA BKL-ERTs MTsRIM EShR KMAU LE NAIThA UKMAU LE ThSF | ו והיתה צעקה גדלה בכל-ארץ מצרים אשר כמהו לא נהיתה וכמהו לא תסף | ||
| 7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog whet his tongue, against man or beast; that you may know how that IAUA does put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel. | Z ULKL BNI IShREL LE IChRTs-KLB LShNU LMEISh UOD-BAMA LMON ThDOUN EShR IFLA IAUA BIN MTsRIM UBIN IShREL | ז ולכל בני ישראל לא יחרץ-כלב לשנו למאיש ועד-בהמה למען תדעון אשר יפלה יהוה בין מצרים ובין ישראל | ||
| 8 All these your servants shall come down to me, and bow down to me, saying: Get you out, and all the people that follow you; and after that I will go out.' | 9 IAUA said to Moses: 'Pharaoh will not hearken to you; that My wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.' | T UIEMR IAUA EL-MShA LE-IShMO ELIKM FROA LMON RBUTh MUFThI BERTs MTsRIM | ט ויאמר יהוה אל-משה לא-ישמע אליכם פרעה למען רבות מופתי בארץ מצרים | ||
