The Altar of Incense | ||||

| 2 A cubit shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof; foursquare shall it be; and two cubits shall be the height thereof; the horns thereof shall be of one piece with it. | B EMA ERKU UEMA RChBU RBUO IAIA UEMThIM QMThU MMNU QRNThIU | ב אמה ארכו ואמה רחבו רבוע יהיה ואמתים קמתו ממנו קרנתיו | ||

| 5 You shall make the staves of acacia-wood, and overlay them with gold. | A UOShITh ETh-ABDIM OTsI ShTIM UTsFITh EThM ZAB | ה ועשית את-הבדים עצי שטים וצפית אתם זהב | ||
| 6 You shall put it before the veil that is by the ark of the testimony, before the ark-cover that is over the testimony, where I will meet with you. | U UNThThA EThU LFNI AFRKTh EShR OL-ERN AODTh LFNI AKFRTh EShR OL-AODTh EShR EUOD LK ShMA | ו ונתתה אתו לפני הפרכת אשר על-ארן העדת לפני הכפרת אשר על-העדת אשר אועד לך שמה | ||
| 7 Aaron shall burn thereon incense of sweet spices; every morning, when he dresses the lamps, he shall burn it. | Z UAQTIR OLIU EARN QTRTh SMIM BBQR BBQR BAITIBU ETh-ANRTh IQTIRNA | ז והקטיר עליו אהרן קטרת סמים בבקר בבקר בהיטיבו את-הנרת יקטירנה | ||
| 8 When Aaron lights the lamps at dusk, he shall burn it, a perpetual incense before IAUA throughout your generations. | Ch UBAOLTh EARN ETh-ANRTh BIN AORBIM IQTIRNA QTRTh ThMID LFNI IAUA LDRThIKM | ח ובהעלת אהרן את-הנרת בין הערבים יקטירנה קטרת תמיד לפני יהוה לדרתיכם | ||
| 9 You shall offer no strange incense thereon, nor burnt-offering, nor meal-offering; and you shall pour no drink-offering thereon. | T LE-ThOLU OLIU QTRTh ZRA UOLA UMNChA UNSK LE ThSKU OLIU | ט לא-תעלו עליו קטרת זרה ועלה ומנחה ונסך לא תסכו עליו | ||
| 10 Aaron shall make atonement on the horns of it once in the year; with the blood of the sin-offering of atonement once in the year shall he make atonement for it throughout your generations; it is most holy to IAUA.' | I UKFR EARN OL-QRNThIU EChTh BShNA MDM ChTETh AKFRIM EChTh BShNA IKFR OLIU LDRThIKM QDSh-QDShIM AUE LIAUA | י וכפר אהרן על-קרנתיו אחת בשנה מדם חטאת הכפרים אחת בשנה יכפר עליו לדרתיכם קדש-קדשים הוא ליהוה | ||

| 12 'When you take the sum of the children of Israel, according to their number, then shall they give every man a ransom for his soul to IAUA, when you number them; that there be no plague among them, when you number them. | IB KI ThShE ETh-RESh BNI-IShREL LFQDIAM UNThNU EISh KFR NFShU LIAUA BFQD EThM ULE-IAIA BAM NGF BFQD EThM | יב כי תשא את-ראש בני-ישראל לפקדיהם ונתנו איש כפר נפשו ליהוה בפקד אתם ולא-יהיה בהם נגף בפקד אתם | ||
| 13 This they shall give, every one that passes among them that are numbered, half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary--the shekel is twenty gerahs--half a shekel for an offering to IAUA. | IG ZA IThNU KL-AOBR OL-AFQDIM MChTsITh AShQL BShQL AQDSh OShRIM GRA AShQL MChTsITh AShQL ThRUMA LIAUA | יג זה יתנו כל-העבר על-הפקדים מחצית השקל בשקל הקדש עשרים גרה השקל מחצית השקל תרומה ליהוה | ||
| 14 Every one that passes among them that are numbered, from twenty years old and upward, shall give the offering of IAUA. | ID KL AOBR OL-AFQDIM MBN OShRIM ShNA UMOLA IThN ThRUMTh IAUA | יד כל העבר על-הפקדים מבן עשרים שנה ומעלה יתן תרומת יהוה | ||
| 15 The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less, than the half shekel, when they give the offering of IAUA, to make atonement for your souls. | TU AOShIR LE-IRBA UADL LE IMOIT MMChTsITh AShQL LThTh ETh-ThRUMTh IAUA LKFR OL-NFShThIKM | טו העשיר לא-ירבה והדל לא ימעיט ממחצית השקל לתת את-תרומת יהוה לכפר על-נפשתיכם | ||
| 16 You shall take the atonement money from the children of Israel, and shall appoint it for the service of the tent of Holy Days, that it may be a memorial for the children of Israel before IAUA, to make atonement for your souls.' | TZ ULQChTh ETh-KSF AKFRIM METh BNI IShREL UNThTh EThU OL-OBDTh EAL MUOD UAIA LBNI IShREL LZKRUN LFNI IAUA LKFR OL-NFShThIKM | טז ולקחת את-כסף הכפרים מאת בני ישראל ונתת אתו על-עבדת אהל מועד והיה לבני ישראל לזכרון לפני יהוה לכפר על-נפשתיכם | ||

| 18 'You shall also make a laver of brass, and the base thereof of brass, whereat to wash; and you shall put it between the tent of Holy Days and the altar, and you shall put water therein. | ICh UOShITh KIUR NChShTh UKNU NChShTh LRChTsA UNThTh EThU BIN-EAL MUOD UBIN AMZBCh UNThTh ShMA MIM | יח ועשית כיור נחשת וכנו נחשת לרחצה ונתת אתו בין-אהל מועד ובין המזבח ונתת שמה מים | ||
| 19 Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet thereat; | IT URChTsU EARN UBNIU MMNU ETh-IDIAM UETh-RGLIAM | יט ורחצו אהרן ובניו ממנו את-ידיהם ואת-רגליהם | ||
| 20 when they go into the tent of Holy Days, they shall wash with water, that they die not; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to cause an offering made by fire to smoke to IAUA; | K BBEM EL-EAL MUOD IRChTsU-MIM ULE IMThU EU BGShThM EL-AMZBCh LShRTh LAQTIR EShA LIAUA | כ בבאם אל-אהל מועד ירחצו-מים ולא ימתו או בגשתם אל-המזבח לשרת להקטיר אשה ליהוה | ||
| 21 so they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they die not; and it shall be a statute for ever to them, even to him and to his seed throughout their generations.' | KE URChTsU IDIAM URGLIAM ULE IMThU UAIThA LAM ChQ-OULM LU ULZROU LDRThM | כא ורחצו ידיהם ורגליהם ולא ימתו והיתה להם חק-עולם לו ולזרעו לדרתם | ||

| 23 'Take you also to you the chief spices, of flowing myrrh five hundred shekels, and of sweet cinnamon half so much, even two hundred and fifty, and of sweet calamus two hundred and fifty, | KG UEThA QCh-LK BShMIM RESh MR-DRUR ChMSh MEUTh UQNMN-BShM MChTsIThU ChMShIM UMEThIM UQNA-BShM ChMShIM UMEThIM | כג ואתה קח-לך בשמים ראש מר-דרור חמש מאות וקנמן-בשם מחציתו חמשים ומאתים וקנה-בשם חמשים ומאתים | ||
| 24 and of cassia five hundred, after the shekel of the sanctuary, and of olive oil a hin. | KD UQDA ChMSh MEUTh BShQL AQDSh UShMN ZITh AIN | כד וקדה חמש מאות בשקל הקדש ושמן זית הין | ||
| 25 You shall make it a holy anointing oil, a perfume compounded after the are of the perfumer; it shall be a holy anointing oil. | KA UOShITh EThU ShMN MShChTh-QDSh RQCh MRQChTh MOShA RQCh ShMN MShChTh-QDSh IAIA | כה ועשית אתו שמן משחת-קדש רקח מרקחת מעשה רקח שמן משחת-קדש יהיה | ||
| 26 You shall anoint therewith the tent of Holy Days, and the ark of the testimony, | KU UMShChTh BU ETh-EAL MUOD UETh ERUN AODTh | כו ומשחת בו את-אהל מועד ואת ארון העדת | ||
| 27 and the table and all the vessels thereof, and the candlestick and the vessels thereof, and the altar of incense, | KZ UETh-AShLChN UETh-KL-KLIU UETh-AMNRA UETh-KLIA UETh MZBCh AQTRTh | כז ואת-השלחן ואת-כל-כליו ואת-המנרה ואת-כליה ואת מזבח הקטרת | ||
| 28 and the altar of burnt-offering with all the vessels thereof, and the laver and the base thereof. | KCh UETh-MZBCh AOLA UETh-KL-KLIU UETh-AKIR UETh-KNU | כח ואת-מזבח העלה ואת-כל-כליו ואת-הכיר ואת-כנו | ||
| 29 You shall sanctify them, that they may be most holy; whatsoever touches them shall be holy. | KT UQDShTh EThM UAIU QDSh QDShIM KL-ANGO BAM IQDSh | כט וקדשת אתם והיו קדש קדשים כל-הנגע בהם יקדש | ||
| 30 You shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and sanctify them, that they may minister to Me in the priest's office. | L UETh-EARN UETh-BNIU ThMShCh UQDShTh EThM LKAN LI | ל ואת-אהרן ואת-בניו תמשח וקדשת אתם לכהן לי | ||
| 31 You shall speak to the children of Israel, saying: This shall be a holy anointing oil to Me throughout your generations. | LE UEL-BNI IShREL ThDBR LEMR ShMN MShChTh-QDSh IAIA ZA LI LDRThIKM | לא ואל-בני ישראל תדבר לאמר שמן משחת-קדש יהיה זה לי לדרתיכם | ||
| 32 On the flesh of man shall it not be poured, neither shall you make any like it, according to the composition thereof; it is holy, and it shall be holy to you. | LB OL-BShR EDM LE IISK UBMThKNThU LE ThOShU KMAU QDSh AUE QDSh IAIA LKM | לב על-בשר אדם לא ייסך ובמתכנתו לא תעשו כמהו קדש הוא קדש יהיה לכם | ||
| 33 Whosoever compounds any like it, or whosoever puts any of it on a stranger, he shall be cut off from his people.' | LG EISh EShR IRQCh KMAU UEShR IThN MMNU OL-ZR UNKRTh MOMIU | לג איש אשר ירקח כמהו ואשר יתן ממנו על-זר ונכרת מעמיו | ||
| 34 IAUA said to Moses: 'Take to you sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum; sweet spices with pure frankincense; of each shall there be a like weight. | LD UIEMR IAUA EL-MShA QCh-LK SMIM NTF UShChLTh UChLBNA SMIM ULBNA ZKA BD BBD IAIA | לד ויאמר יהוה אל-משה קח-לך סמים נטף ושחלת וחלבנה סמים ולבנה זכה בד בבד יהיה | ||
| 35 You shall make of it incense, a perfume after the are of the perfumer, seasoned with salt, pure and holy. | LA UOShITh EThA QTRTh RQCh MOShA RUQCh MMLCh TAUR QDSh | לה ועשית אתה קטרת רקח מעשה רוקח ממלח טהור קדש | ||
| 36 You shall beat some of it very small, and put of it before the testimony in the tent of Holy Days, where I will meet with you; it shall be to you most holy. | LU UShChQTh MMNA ADQ UNThThA MMNA LFNI AODTh BEAL MUOD EShR EUOD LK ShMA QDSh QDShIM ThAIA LKM | לו ושחקת ממנה הדק ונתתה ממנה לפני העדת באהל מועד אשר אועד לך שמה קדש קדשים תהיה לכם | ||
| 37 The incense which you shall make, according to the composition thereof you shall not make for yourselves; it shall be to you holy for IAUA. | LZ UAQTRTh EShR ThOShA BMThKNThA LE ThOShU LKM QDSh ThAIA LK LIAUA | לז והקטרת אשר תעשה במתכנתה לא תעשו לכם קדש תהיה לך ליהוה | ||
| 38 Whosoever shall make like to that, to smell thereof, he shall be cut off from his people.' | LCh EISh EShR-IOShA KMUA LARICh BA UNKRTh MOMIU | לח איש אשר-יעשה כמוה להריח בה ונכרת מעמיו | ||
