| 2 God spoke to Moses, and said to him: 'I am IAUA; | B UIDBR ELAIM EL-MShA UIEMR ELIU ENI IAUA | ב וידבר אלהים אל-משה ויאמר אליו אני יהוה | ||
| 3 I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty, but by My name IAUA was I not made known to them. | G UERE EL-EBRAM EL-ITsChQ UEL-IOQB BEL ShDI UShMI IAUA LE NUDOThI LAM | ג וארא אל-אברהם אל-יצחק ואל-יעקב באל שדי ושמי יהוה לא נודעתי להם | ||
| 4 I have also established My covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their wanderings, wherein they sojourned. | D UGM AQMThI ETh-BRIThI EThM LThTh LAM ETh-ERTs KNON ETh ERTs MGRIAM EShR-GRU BA | ד וגם הקמתי את-בריתי אתם לתת להם את-ארץ כנען את ארץ מגריהם אשר-גרו בה | ||
| 5 Moreover I have heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered My covenant. | A UGM ENI ShMOThI ETh-NEQTh BNI IShREL EShR MTsRIM MOBDIM EThM UEZKR ETh-BRIThI | ה וגם אני שמעתי את-נאקת בני ישראל אשר מצרים מעבדים אתם ואזכר את-בריתי | ||

| 11 'Go in, speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land.' | IE BE DBR EL-FROA MLK MTsRIM UIShLCh ETh-BNI-IShREL MERTsU | יא בא דבר אל-פרעה מלך מצרים וישלח את-בני-ישראל מארצו | ||
| 12 Moses spoke before IAUA, saying: 'Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened to me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips?' | IB UIDBR MShA LFNI IAUA LEMR AN BNI-IShREL LE-ShMOU ELI UEIK IShMONI FROA UENI ORL ShFThIM | יב וידבר משה לפני יהוה לאמר הן בני-ישראל לא-שמעו אלי ואיך ישמעני פרעה ואני ערל שפתים | ||

| 14 These are the heads of their fathers' houses: the sons of Reuben the first-born of Israel: Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi. | 15 The sons of Simeon: Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman. | 16 These are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations: Gershon and Kohath, and Merari. | 18 The sons of Kohath: Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel. The years of the life of Kohath were a hundred thirty and three years. | ICh UBNI QATh OMRM UITsAR UChBRUN UOZIEL UShNI ChII QATh ShLSh UShLShIM UMETh ShNA | יח ובני קהת עמרם ויצהר וחברון ועזיאל ושני חיי קהת שלש ושלשים ומאת שנה | ||

| 20 Amram took him Jochebed his father's sister to wife; and she bore him Aaron and Moses. | 22 The sons of Uzziel: Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Sithri. | KB UBNI OZIEL MIShEL UELTsFN USThRI | כב ובני עזיאל מישאל ואלצפן וסתרי | ||

| 25 Eleazar Aaron's son took him one of the daughters of Putiel to wife; and she bore him Phinehas.
