God's Favor to Zion
1 I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns. E UEShE ETh-OINI UERE UANA ERBO QRNUTh א ואשא את-עיני וארא והנה ארבע קרנות
2 I said to the angel that spoke with me: 'What are these?' He said to me: 'These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.' B UEMR EL-AMLEK ADBR BI MA-ELA UIEMR ELI ELA AQRNUTh EShR ZRU ETh-IAUDA ETh-IShREL UIRUShLM ב ואמר אל-המלאך הדבר בי מה-אלה ויאמר אלי אלה הקרנות אשר זרו את-יהודה את-ישראל וירושלם
3 IAUA showed me four craftsmen. G UIRENI IAUA ERBOA ChRShIM ג ויראני יהוה ארבעה חרשים
4 Then said I: 'What come these to do?' He spoke, saying: 'These--the horns which scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head--these then are come to frighten them, to cast down the horns of the nations, which lifted up their horn against the land of Judah to scatter it.' 5 I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand. A UEShE OINI UERE UANA-EISh UBIDU ChBL MDA ה ואשא עיני וארא והנה-איש ובידו חבל מדה
6 Then said I: 'Whither go you?' He said to me: 'To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.' U UEMR ENA EThA ALK UIEMR ELI LMD ETh-IRUShLM LREUTh KMA-RChBA UKMA ERKA ו ואמר אנה אתה הלך ויאמר אלי למד את-ירושלם לראות כמה-רחבה וכמה ארכה
7 And, behold, the angel that spoke with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him, Z UANA AMLEK ADBR BI ITsE UMLEK EChR ITsE LQREThU ז והנה המלאך הדבר בי יצא ומלאך אחר יצא לקראתו
8 and said to him: 'Run, speak to this young man, saying: 'Jerusalem shall be inhabited without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein. Ch UIEMR ELU RTs DBR EL-ANOR ALZ LEMR FRZUTh ThShB IRUShLM MRB EDM UBAMA BThUKA ח ויאמר אלו רץ דבר אל-הנער הלז לאמר פרזות תשב ירושלם מרב אדם ובהמה בתוכה
9 For I, says IAUA, will be to her a wall of fire round about, and I will be the glory in the middle of her. T UENI EAIA-LA NEM-IAUA ChUMTh ESh SBIB ULKBUD EAIA BThUKA ט ואני אהיה-לה נאם-יהוה חומת אש סביב ולכבוד אהיה בתוכה
10 Ho, ho, flee then from the land of the north, says IAUA; for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, says IAUA. I AUI AUI UNSU MERTs TsFUN NEM-IAUA KI KERBO RUChUTh AShMIM FRShThI EThKM NEM-IAUA י הוי הוי ונסו מארץ צפון נאם-יהוה כי כארבע רוחות השמים פרשתי אתכם נאם-יהוה
11 Ho, Zion, escape, you that dwell with the daughter of Babylon.' IE AUI TsIUN AMLTI IUShBTh BTh-BBL יא הוי ציון המלטי יושבת בת-בבל
12 For thus says IAUA of hosts who sent me after glory to the nations which spoiled you: 'Surely, he that touches you touches the apple of his eye. IB KI KA EMR IAUA TsBEUTh EChR KBUD ShLChNI EL-AGUIM AShLLIM EThKM KI ANGO BKM NGO BBBTh OINU יב כי כה אמר יהוה צבאות אחר כבוד שלחני אל-הגוים השללים אתכם כי הנגע בכם נגע בבבת עינו
13 For, behold, I will shake My hand over them, and they shall be a spoil to those that served them'; and you shall know that IAUA of hosts has sent me. 14 'Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion; for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the middle of you, says IAUA. ID RNI UShMChI BTh-TsIUN KI ANNI-BE UShKNThI BThUKK NEM-IAUA יד רני ושמחי בת-ציון כי הנני-בא ושכנתי בתוכך נאם-יהוה
15 Many nations shall join themselves to IAUA in that day, and shall be My people, and I will dwell in the middle of you'; and you shall know that IAUA of hosts has sent me to you. TU UNLUU GUIM RBIM EL-IAUA BIUM AAUE UAIU LI LOM UShKNThI BThUKK UIDOTh KI-IAUA TsBEUTh ShLChNI ELIK טו ונלוו גוים רבים אל-יהוה ביום ההוא והיו לי לעם ושכנתי בתוכך וידעת כי-יהוה צבאות שלחני אליך
16 IAUA shall inherit Judah as His portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again. TZ UNChL IAUA ETh-IAUDA ChLQU OL EDMTh AQDSh UBChR OUD BIRUShLM טז ונחל יהוה את-יהודה חלקו על אדמת הקדש ובחר עוד בירושלם
17 Be silent, all flesh, before IAUA; for He is aroused out of His holy habitation. IZ AS KL-BShR MFNI IAUA KI NOUR MMOUN QDShU יז הס כל-בשר מפני יהוה כי נעור ממעון קדשו
