| 2 She has prepared her meat, she has mingled her wine; she has also furnished her table. | B TBChA TBChA MSKA IINA EF ORKA ShLChNA | ב טבחה טבחה מסכה יינה אף ערכה שלחנה | ||
| 3 She has sent forth her maidens, she calls, on the highest places of the city: | G ShLChA NORThIA ThQRE OL-GFI MRMI QRTh | ג שלחה נערתיה תקרא על-גפי מרמי קרת | ||
| 4 'Whoso is thoughtless, let him turn in hither'; as for him that lacks understanding, she says to him: | D MI-FThI ISR ANA ChSR-LB EMRA LU | ד מי-פתי יסר הנה חסר-לב אמרה לו | ||
| 5 'Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine which I have mingled. | A LKU LChMU BLChMI UShThU BIIN MSKThI | ה לכו לחמו בלחמי ושתו ביין מסכתי | ||
| 6 Forsake all thoughtlessness, and live; and walk in the way of understanding. | U OZBU FThEIM UChIU UEShRU BDRK BINA | ו עזבו פתאים וחיו ואשרו בדרך בינה | ||
| 7 He that corrects a scorner gets to himself shame, and he that reproves a wicked man, it becomes to him a blot. | Z ISR LTs LQCh LU QLUN UMUKICh LRShO MUMU | ז יסר לץ לקח לו קלון ומוכיח לרשע מומו | ||
| 8 Reprove not a scorner, unless he hate you; reprove a wise man, and he will love you. | Ch EL-ThUKCh LTs FN-IShNEK AUKCh LChKM UIEABK | ח אל-תוכח לץ פן-ישנאך הוכח לחכם ויאהבך | ||
| 9 Give to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser; teach a righteous man, and he will increase in learning. | T ThN LChKM UIChKM-OUD AUDO LTsDIQ UIUSF LQCh | ט תן לחכם ויחכם-עוד הודע לצדיק ויוסף לקח | ||
| 10 The fear of IAUA is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the All-holy is understanding. | I ThChLTh ChKMA IRETh IAUA UDOTh QDShIM BINA | י תחלת חכמה יראת יהוה ודעת קדשים בינה | ||
| 11 For by me your days shall be multiplied, and the years of your life shall be increased. | IE KI-BI IRBU IMIK UIUSIFU LK ShNUTh ChIIM | יא כי-בי ירבו ימיך ויוסיפו לך שנות חיים | ||
| 12 If you are wise, you are wise for yourself; and if you scorn, you alone shall bear it.' | IB EM-ChKMTh ChKMTh LK ULTsTh LBDK ThShE | יב אם-חכמת חכמת לך ולצת לבדך תשא | ||
| 13 The woman Folly is riotous; she is thoughtless, and knows nothing. | IG EShTh KSILUTh AMIA FThIUTh UBL-IDOA MA | יג אשת כסילות המיה פתיות ובל-ידעה מה | ||
| 14 She sits at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city, | ID UIShBA LFThCh BIThA OL-KSE MRMI QRTh | יד וישבה לפתח ביתה על-כסא מרמי קרת | ||
| 15 To call to them that pass by, who go right on their ways: | TU LQRE LOBRI-DRK AMIShRIM ERChUThM | טו לקרא לעברי-דרך המישרים ארחותם | ||

| 17 'Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.' | IZ MIM-GNUBIM IMThQU ULChM SThRIM INOM | יז מים-גנובים ימתקו ולחם סתרים ינעם | ||
| 18 But he knows not that the shades are there; that her guests are in the depths of the nether-world. | ICh ULE-IDO KI-RFEIM ShM BOMQI ShEUL QREIA | יח ולא-ידע כי-רפאים שם בעמקי שאול קראיה | ||
