Law of the Nazirites
1 IAUA spoke to Moses, saying: E UIDBR IAUA EL-MShA LEMR א וידבר יהוה אל-משה לאמר
2 Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: When either man or woman shall clearly utter a vow, the vow of a Nazirite, to consecrate himself to IAUA, B DBR EL-BNI IShREL UEMRTh ELAM EISh EU-EShA KI IFLE LNDR NDR NZIR LAZIR LIAUA ב דבר אל-בני ישראל ואמרת אלהם איש או-אשה כי יפלא לנדר נדר נזיר להזיר ליהוה
3 he shall abstain from wine and strong drink: he shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat fresh grapes or dried. 5 All the days of his vow of Naziriteship there shall no razor come on his head; until the days be fulfilled, in which he consecrates himself to IAUA, he shall be holy, he shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow long. 7 He shall not make himself unclean for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister, when they die; because his consecration to God is on his head. 9 If any man die very suddenly beside him, and he defile his consecrated head, then he shall shave his head in the day of his cleansing, on the seventh day shall he shave it. T UKI-IMUTh MTh OLIU BFThO FThEM UTME RESh NZRU UGLCh REShU BIUM TARThU BIUM AShBIOI IGLChNU ט וכי-ימות מת עליו בפתע פתאם וטמא ראש נזרו וגלח ראשו ביום טהרתו ביום השביעי יגלחנו
10 On the eighth day he shall bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, to the priest, to the door of the tent of Holy Days. I UBIUM AShMINI IBE ShThI ThRIM EU ShNI BNI IUNA EL-AKAN EL-FThCh EAL MUOD י וביום השמיני יבא שתי תרים או שני בני יונה אל-הכהן אל-פתח אהל מועד
11 The priest shall prepare one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering, and make atonement for him, for that he sinned by reason of the dead; and he shall hallow his head that same day. IE UOShA AKAN EChD LChTETh UEChD LOLA UKFR OLIU MEShR ChTE OL-ANFSh UQDSh ETh-REShU BIUM AAUE יא ועשה הכהן אחד לחטאת ואחד לעלה וכפר עליו מאשר חטא על-הנפש וקדש את-ראשו ביום ההוא
12 He shall consecrate to IAUA the days of his Naziriteship, and shall bring a he-lamb of the first year for a guilt-offering; but the former days shall be void, because his consecration was defiled. 13 This is the law of the Nazirite, when the days of his consecration are fulfilled: he shall bring it to the door of the tent of Holy Days; IG UZETh ThURTh ANZIR BIUM MLETh IMI NZRU IBIE EThU EL-FThCh EAL MUOD יג וזאת תורת הנזיר ביום מלאת ימי נזרו יביא אתו אל-פתח אהל מועד
14 and he shall present his offering to IAUA, one he-lamb of the first year without blemish for a burnt-offering, and one ewe-lamb of the first year without blemish for a sin-offering, and one ram without blemish for peace-offerings, ID UAQRIB ETh-QRBNU LIAUA KBSh BN-ShNThU ThMIM EChD LOLA UKBShA EChTh BTh-ShNThA ThMIMA LChTETh UEIL-EChD ThMIM LShLMIM יד והקריב את-קרבנו ליהוה כבש בן-שנתו תמים אחד לעלה וכבשה אחת בת-שנתה תמימה לחטאת ואיל-אחד תמים לשלמים
15 and a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers spread with oil, and their meal-offering, and their drink-offerings. 16 The priest shall bring them before IAUA, and shall offer his sin-offering, and his burnt-offering. TZ UAQRIB AKAN LFNI IAUA UOShA ETh-ChTEThU UETh-OLThU טז והקריב הכהן לפני יהוה ועשה את-חטאתו ואת-עלתו
17 He shall offer the ram for a sacrifice of peace-offerings to IAUA, with the basket of unleavened bread; the priest shall offer also the meal-offering thereof, and the drink-offering thereof. IZ UETh-AEIL IOShA ZBCh ShLMIM LIAUA OL SL AMTsUTh UOShA AKAN ETh-MNChThU UETh-NSKU יז ואת-האיל יעשה זבח שלמים ליהוה על סל המצות ועשה הכהן את-מנחתו ואת-נסכו
18 The Nazirite shall shave his consecrated head at the door of the tent of Holy Days, and shall take the hair of his consecrated head, and put it on the fire which is under the sacrifice of peace-offerings. ICh UGLCh ANZIR FThCh EAL MUOD ETh-RESh NZRU ULQCh ETh-ShOR RESh NZRU UNThN OL-AESh EShR-ThChTh ZBCh AShLMIM יח וגלח הנזיר פתח אהל מועד את-ראש נזרו ולקח את-שער ראש נזרו ונתן על-האש אשר-תחת זבח השלמים
19 The priest shall take the shoulder of the ram when it is sodden, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and shall put them on the hands of the Nazirite, after he has shaven his consecrated head. IT ULQCh AKAN ETh-AZRO BShLA MN-AEIL UChLTh MTsA EChTh MN-ASL URQIQ MTsA EChD UNThN OL-KFI ANZIR EChR AThGLChU ETh-NZRU יט ולקח הכהן את-הזרע בשלה מן-האיל וחלת מצה אחת מן-הסל ורקיק מצה אחד ונתן על-כפי הנזיר אחר התגלחו את-נזרו
20 The priest shall wave them for a wave-offering before IAUA; this is holy for the priest, together with the breast of waving and the thigh of heaving; and after that the Nazirite may drink wine. K UANIF EUThM AKAN ThNUFA LFNI IAUA QDSh AUE LKAN OL ChZA AThNUFA UOL ShUQ AThRUMA UEChR IShThA ANZIR IIN כ והניף אותם הכהן תנופה לפני יהוה קדש הוא לכהן על חזה התנופה ועל שוק התרומה ואחר ישתה הנזיר יין
21 This is the law of the Nazirite who vows, and of his offering to IAUA for his Naziriteship, beside that for which his means suffice; according to his vow which he vows, so he must do after the law of his Naziriteship. 23 'Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying: On this wise you shall bless the children of Israel; you shall say to them: KG DBR EL-EARN UEL-BNIU LEMR KA ThBRKU ETh-BNI IShREL EMUR LAM כג דבר אל-אהרן ואל-בניו לאמר כה תברכו את-בני ישראל אמור להם
24 IAUA bless you, and keep you; KD IBRKK IAUA UIShMRK כד יברכך יהוה וישמרך
25 IAUA make His face to shine on you, and be gracious to you; KA IER IAUA FNIU ELIK UIChNK כה יאר יהוה פניו אליך ויחנך
26 IAUA lift up His countenance on you, and give you peace. KU IShE IAUA FNIU ELIK UIShM LK ShLUM כו ישא יהוה פניו אליך וישם לך שלום
27 So shall they put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.' KZ UShMU ETh-ShMI OL-BNI IShREL UENI EBRKM כז ושמו את-שמי על-בני ישראל ואני אברכם

Law of the Nazirites

17 He shall offer the ram for a sacrifice of peace-offerings to IAUA, with the basket of unleavened bread; the priest shall offer also the meal-offering thereof, and the drink-offering thereof.
