| 1 IAUA spoke to Moses, saying: | E UIDBR IAUA EL-MShA LEMR | א וידבר יהוה אל-משה לאמר | ||
| 2 'Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that has an issue, and whosoever is unclean by the dead; | B TsU ETh-BNI IShREL UIShLChU MN-AMChNA KL-TsRUO UKL-ZB UKL TME LNFSh | ב צו את-בני ישראל וישלחו מן-המחנה כל-צרוע וכל-זב וכל טמא לנפש | ||
| 3 both male and female shall you put out, without the camp shall you put them; that they defile not their camp, in the middle whereof I dwell.' | G MZKR OD-NQBA ThShLChU EL-MChUTs LMChNA ThShLChUM ULE ITMEU ETh-MChNIAM EShR ENI ShKN BThUKM | ג מזכר עד-נקבה תשלחו אל-מחוץ למחנה תשלחום ולא יטמאו את-מחניהם אשר אני שכן בתוכם | ||
| 4 The children of Israel did so, and put them out without the camp; as IAUA spoke to Moses, so did the children of Israel. | D UIOShU-KN BNI IShREL UIShLChU EUThM EL-MChUTs LMChNA KEShR DBR IAUA EL-MShA KN OShU BNI IShREL | ד ויעשו-כן בני ישראל וישלחו אותם אל-מחוץ למחנה כאשר דבר יהוה אל-משה כן עשו בני ישראל | ||
| 5 IAUA spoke to Moses, saying: | A UIDBR IAUA EL-MShA LEMR | ה וידבר יהוה אל-משה לאמר | ||
| 6 Speak to the children of Israel: When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to commit a trespass against IAUA, and that soul be guilty; | U DBR EL-BNI IShREL EISh EU-EShA KI IOShU MKL-ChTETh AEDM LMOL MOL BIAUA UEShMA ANFSh AAUE | ו דבר אל-בני ישראל איש או-אשה כי יעשו מכל-חטאת האדם למעל מעל ביהוה ואשמה הנפש ההוא | ||
| 7 then they shall confess their sin which they have done; and he shall make restitution for his guilt in full, and add to it the fifth part thereof, and give it to him in respect of whom he has been guilty. | Z UAThUDU ETh-ChTEThM EShR OShU UAShIB ETh-EShMU BREShU UChMIShThU ISF OLIU UNThN LEShR EShM LU | ז והתודו את-חטאתם אשר עשו והשיב את-אשמו בראשו וחמישתו יסף עליו ונתן לאשר אשם לו | ||
| 8 But if the man have no kinsman to whom restitution may be made for the guilt, the restitution for guilt which is made shall be IAUA'S, even the priest's; besides the ram of the atonement, whereby atonement shall be made for him. | Ch UEM-EIN LEISh GEL LAShIB AEShM ELIU AEShM AMUShB LIAUA LKAN MLBD EIL AKFRIM EShR IKFR-BU OLIU | ח ואם-אין לאיש גאל להשיב האשם אליו האשם המושב ליהוה לכהן מלבד איל הכפרים אשר יכפר-בו עליו | ||
| 9 Every heave-offering of all the holy things of the children of Israel, which they present to the priest, shall be his. | T UKL-ThRUMA LKL-QDShI BNI-IShREL EShR-IQRIBU LKAN LU IAIA | ט וכל-תרומה לכל-קדשי בני-ישראל אשר-יקריבו לכהן לו יהיה | ||
| 10 Every man's hallowed things shall be his: whatsoever any man gives the priest, it shall be his. | I UEISh ETh-QDShIU LU IAIU EISh EShR-IThN LKAN LU IAIA | י ואיש את-קדשיו לו יהיו איש אשר-יתן לכהן לו יהיה | ||
| 11 and IAUA spoke to Moses, saying: | IE UIDBR IAUA EL-MShA LEMR | יא וידבר יהוה אל-משה לאמר | ||
| 12 Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: If any man's wife go aside, and act unfaithfully against him, | IB DBR EL-BNI IShREL UEMRTh ELAM EISh EISh KI-ThShTA EShThU UMOLA BU MOL | יב דבר אל-בני ישראל ואמרת אלהם איש איש כי-תשטה אשתו ומעלה בו מעל | ||
| 13 and a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, she being defiled secretly, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken in the act; | IG UShKB EISh EThA ShKBTh-ZRO UNOLM MOINI EIShA UNSThRA UAIE NTMEA UOD EIN BA UAUE LE NThFShA | יג ושכב איש אתה שכבת-זרע ונעלם מעיני אישה ונסתרה והיא נטמאה ועד אין בה והוא לא נתפשה | ||
| 14 and the spirit of jealousy come on him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled; or if the spirit of jealousy come on him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled; | ID UOBR OLIU RUCh-QNEA UQNE ETh-EShThU UAUE NTMEA EU-OBR OLIU RUCh-QNEA UQNE ETh-EShThU UAIE LE NTMEA | יד ועבר עליו רוח-קנאה וקנא את-אשתו והוא נטמאה או-עבר עליו רוח-קנאה וקנא את-אשתו והיא לא נטמאה | ||
| 15 then shall the man bring his wife to the priest, and shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil on it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is a meal-offering of jealousy, a meal-offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance. | TU UABIE AEISh ETh-EShThU EL-AKAN UABIE ETh-QRBNA OLIA OShIRTh AEIFA QMCh ShORIM LE-ITsQ OLIU ShMN ULE-IThN OLIU LBNA KI-MNChTh QNETh AUE MNChTh ZKRUN MZKRTh OUN | טו והביא האיש את-אשתו אל-הכהן והביא את-קרבנה עליה עשירת האיפה קמח שערים לא-יצק עליו שמן ולא-יתן עליו לבנה כי-מנחת קנאת הוא מנחת זכרון מזכרת עון | ||
| 16 The priest shall bring her near, and set her before IAUA. | TZ UAQRIB EThA AKAN UAOMDA LFNI IAUA | טז והקריב אתה הכהן והעמדה לפני יהוה | ||
| 17 The priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is on the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water. | IZ ULQCh AKAN MIM QDShIM BKLI-ChRSh UMN-AOFR EShR IAIA BQRQO AMShKN IQCh AKAN UNThN EL-AMIM | יז ולקח הכהן מים קדשים בכלי-חרש ומן-העפר אשר יהיה בקרקע המשכן יקח הכהן ונתן אל-המים | ||
| 18 The priest shall set the woman before IAUA, and let the hair of the woman's head go loose, and put the meal-offering of memorial in her hands, which is the meal-offering of jealousy; and the priest shall have in his hand the water of bitterness that causes the curse. | ICh UAOMID AKAN ETh-AEShA LFNI IAUA UFRO ETh-RESh AEShA UNThN OL-KFIA ETh MNChTh AZKRUN MNChTh QNETh AUE UBID AKAN IAIU MI AMRIM AMERRIM | יח והעמיד הכהן את-האשה לפני יהוה ופרע את-ראש האשה ונתן על-כפיה את מנחת הזכרון מנחת קנאת הוא וביד הכהן יהיו מי המרים המאררים | ||
| 19 The priest shall cause her to swear, and shall say to the woman: 'If no man have lain with you, and if you have not gone aside to uncleanness, being under your husband, be you free from this water of bitterness that causes the curse; | IT UAShBIO EThA AKAN UEMR EL-AEShA EM-LE ShKB EISh EThK UEM-LE ShTITh TMEA ThChTh EIShK ANQI MMI AMRIM AMERRIM AELA | יט והשביע אתה הכהן ואמר אל-האשה אם-לא שכב איש אתך ואם-לא שטית טמאה תחת אישך הנקי ממי המרים המאררים האלה | ||
| 20 but if you have gone aside, being under your husband, and if you be defiled, and some man have lain with you besides your husband-- | K UETh KI ShTITh ThChTh EIShK UKI NTMETh UIThN EISh BK ETh-ShKBThU MBLODI EIShK | כ ואת כי שטית תחת אישך וכי נטמאת ויתן איש בך את-שכבתו מבלעדי אישך | ||
| 21 then the priest shall cause the woman to swear with the oath of cursing, and the priest shall say to the woman--IAUA make you a curse and an oath among your people, when IAUA does make your thigh to fall away, and your belly to swell; | KE UAShBIO AKAN ETh-AEShA BShBOTh AELA UEMR AKAN LEShA IThN IAUA EUThK LELA ULShBOA BThUK OMK BThTh IAUA ETh-IRKK NFLTh UETh-BTNK TsBA | כא והשביע הכהן את-האשה בשבעת האלה ואמר הכהן לאשה יתן יהוה אותך לאלה ולשבעה בתוך עמך בתת יהוה את-ירכך נפלת ואת-בטנך צבה | ||
| 22 and this water that causes the curse shall go into your bowels, and make your belly to swell, and your thigh to fall away'; and the woman shall say: 'Amen, Amen.' | KB UBEU AMIM AMERRIM AELA BMOIK LTsBUTh BTN ULNFL IRK UEMRA AEShA EMN EMN | כב ובאו המים המאררים האלה במעיך לצבות בטן ולנפל ירך ואמרה האשה אמן אמן | ||
| 23 The priest shall write these curses in a scroll, and he shall blot them out into the water of bitterness. | KG UKThB ETh-AELTh AELA AKAN BSFR UMChA EL-MI AMRIM | כג וכתב את-האלת האלה הכהן בספר ומחה אל-מי המרים | ||
| 24 He shall make the woman drink the water of bitterness that causes the curse; and the water that causes the curse shall enter into her and become bitter. | KD UAShQA ETh-AEShA ETh-MI AMRIM AMERRIM UBEU BA AMIM AMERRIM LMRIM | כד והשקה את-האשה את-מי המרים המאררים ובאו בה המים המאררים למרים | ||
| 25 The priest shall take the meal-offering of jealousy out of the woman's hand, and shall wave the meal-offering before IAUA, and bring it to the altar. | KA ULQCh AKAN MID AEShA ETh MNChTh AQNETh UANIF ETh-AMNChA LFNI IAUA UAQRIB EThA EL-AMZBCh | כה ולקח הכהן מיד האשה את מנחת הקנאת והניף את-המנחה לפני יהוה והקריב אתה אל-המזבח | ||
| 26 The priest shall take a handful of the meal-offering, as the memorial-part thereof, and make it smoke on the altar, and afterward shall make the woman drink the water. | KU UQMTs AKAN MN-AMNChA ETh-EZKRThA UAQTIR AMZBChA UEChR IShQA ETh-AEShA ETh-AMIM | כו וקמץ הכהן מן-המנחה את-אזכרתה והקטיר המזבחה ואחר ישקה את-האשה את-המים | ||
| 27 When he has made her drink the water, then it shall come to pass, if she be defiled, and have acted unfaithfully against her husband, that the water that causes the curse shall enter into her and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall fall away; and the woman shall be a curse among her people. | KZ UAShQA ETh-AMIM UAIThA EM-NTMEA UThMOL MOL BEIShA UBEU BA AMIM AMERRIM LMRIM UTsBThA BTNA UNFLA IRKA UAIThA AEShA LELA BQRB OMA | כז והשקה את-המים והיתה אם-נטמאה ותמעל מעל באישה ובאו בה המים המאררים למרים וצבתה בטנה ונפלה ירכה והיתה האשה לאלה בקרב עמה | ||
| 28 If the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be cleared, and shall conceive seed. | KCh UEM-LE NTMEA AEShA UTARA AUE UNQThA UNZROA ZRO | כח ואם-לא נטמאה האשה וטהרה הוא ונקתה ונזרעה זרע | ||
| 29 This is the law of jealousy, when a wife, being under her husband, goes aside, and is defiled; | KT ZETh ThURTh AQNETh EShR ThShTA EShA ThChTh EIShA UNTMEA | כט זאת תורת הקנאת אשר תשטה אשה תחת אישה ונטמאה | ||
| 30 or when the spirit of jealousy comes on a man, and he be jealous over his wife; then shall he set the woman before IAUA, and the priest shall execute on her all this law. | L EU EISh EShR ThOBR OLIU RUCh QNEA UQNE ETh-EShThU UAOMID ETh-AEShA LFNI IAUA UOShA LA AKAN ETh KL-AThURA AZETh | ל או איש אשר תעבר עליו רוח קנאה וקנא את-אשתו והעמיד את-האשה לפני יהוה ועשה לה הכהן את כל-התורה הזאת | ||
| 31 The man shall be clear from iniquity, and that woman shall bear her iniquity. | LE UNQA AEISh MOUN UAEShA AAUE ThShE ETh-OUNA | לא ונקה האיש מעון והאשה ההוא תשא את-עונה | ||
