| 7 If my step has turned out of the way, and my heart walked after mine eyes, and if any spot has cleaved to my hands; | Z EM ThTA EShRI MNI ADRK UEChR OINI ALK LBI UBKFI DBQ MEUM | ז אם תטה אשרי מני הדרך ואחר עיני הלך לבי ובכפי דבק מאום | ||
| 8 Then let me sow, and let another eat; yes, let the produce of my field be rooted out. | Ch EZROA UEChR IEKL UTsETsEI IShRShU | ח אזרעה ואחר יאכל וצאצאי ישרשו | ||
| 9 If my heart have been enticed to a woman, and I have lain in wait at my neighbor's door; | T EM-NFThA LBI OL-EShA UOL-FThCh ROI ERBThI | ט אם-נפתה לבי על-אשה ועל-פתח רעי ארבתי | ||
| 10 Then let my wife grind to another, and let others bow down on her. | I ThTChN LEChR EShThI UOLIA IKROUN EChRIN | י תטחן לאחר אשתי ועליה יכרעון אחרין | ||

| 16 If I have withheld aught that the poor desired, or have caused the eyes of the widow to fail; | TZ EM-EMNO MChFTs DLIM UOINI ELMNA EKLA | טז אם-אמנע מחפץ דלים ועיני אלמנה אכלה | ||
| 17 Or have eaten my morsel myself alone, and the fatherless has not eaten thereof-- | IZ UEKL FThI LBDI ULE-EKL IThUM MMNA | יז ואכל פתי לבדי ולא-אכל יתום ממנה | ||
| 18 Nay, from my youth he grew up with me as with a father, and I have been her guide from my mother's womb. | ICh KI MNOURI GDLNI KEB UMBTN EMI ENChNA | יח כי מנעורי גדלני כאב ומבטן אמי אנחנה | ||
| 19 If I have seen any wanderer in want of clothing, or that the needy had no covering; | IT EM-EREA EUBD MBLI LBUSh UEIN KSUTh LEBIUN | יט אם-אראה אובד מבלי לבוש ואין כסות לאביון | ||
| 20 If his loins have not blessed me, and if he were not warmed with the fleece of my sheep; | K EM-LE BRKUNI ChLTsU UMGZ KBShI IThChMM | כ אם-לא ברכוני חלצו ומגז כבשי יתחמם | ||
| 21 If I have lifted up my hand against the fatherless, because I saw my help in the gate; | KE EM-ANIFUThI OL-IThUM IDI KI-EREA BShOR OZRThI | כא אם-הניפותי על-יתום ידי כי-אראה בשער עזרתי | ||
| 22 Then let my shoulder fall from the shoulder-blade, and mine arm be broken from the bone. | KB KThFI MShKMA ThFUL UEZROI MQNA ThShBR | כב כתפי משכמה תפול ואזרעי מקנה תשבר | ||
| 23 For calamity from God was a terror to me, and by reason of His majesty I could do nothing. | KG KI FChD ELI EID EL UMShEThU LE EUKL | כג כי פחד אלי איד אל ומשאתו לא אוכל | ||
| 24 If I have made gold my hope, and have said to the fine gold: 'You are my confidence'; | KD EM-ShMThI ZAB KSLI ULKThM EMRThI MBTChI | כד אם-שמתי זהב כסלי ולכתם אמרתי מבטחי | ||
| 25 If I rejoiced because my wealth was great, and because my hand had gotten much; | KA EM-EShMCh KI-RB ChILI UKI-KBIR MTsEA IDI | כה אם-אשמח כי-רב חילי וכי-כביר מצאה ידי | ||
| 26 If I beheld the sun when it shined, or the moon walking in brightness; | KU EM-EREA EUR KI IAL UIRCh IQR ALK | כו אם-אראה אור כי יהל וירח יקר הלך | ||
| 27 My heart has been secretly enticed, and my mouth has kissed my hand; | KZ UIFTh BSThR LBI UThShQ IDI LFI | כז ויפת בסתר לבי ותשק ידי לפי | ||
| 28 This also were an iniquity to be punished by the judges; for I should have lied to God that is above. | KCh GM-AUE OUN FLILI KI-KChShThI LEL MMOL | כח גם-הוא עון פלילי כי-כחשתי לאל ממעל | ||

| 30 Yes, I suffered not my mouth to sin by asking his life with a curse. | L ULE-NThThI LChTE ChKI LShEL BELA NFShU | ל ולא-נתתי לחטא חכי לשאל באלה נפשו | ||
| 31 If the men of my tent said not: 'Who can find one that has not been satisfied with his meat?' | LE EM-LE EMRU MThI EALI MI-IThN MBShRU LE NShBO | לא אם-לא אמרו מתי אהלי מי-יתן מבשרו לא נשבע | ||
| 32 The stranger did not lodge in the street; my doors I opened to the roadside. | LB BChUTs LE-ILIN GR DLThI LERCh EFThCh | לב בחוץ לא-ילין גר דלתי לארח אפתח | ||
