Israel's Unfaithfulness Condemned | ||||

| 4 Plead with your mother, plead; for she is not My wife, neither am I her husband; and let her put away her harlotries from her face, and her adulteries from between her breasts; | D RIBU BEMKM RIBU KI-AIE LE EShThI UENKI LE EIShA UThSR ZNUNIA MFNIA UNEFUFIA MBIN ShDIA | ד ריבו באמכם ריבו כי-היא לא אשתי ואנכי לא אישה ותסר זנוניה מפניה ונאפופיה מבין שדיה | ||

| 12 Now will I uncover her shame in the sight of her lovers, and none shall deliver her out of My hand. | IB UOThA EGLA ETh-NBLThA LOINI MEABIA UEISh LE-ITsILNA MIDI | יב ועתה אגלה את-נבלתה לעיני מאהביה ואיש לא-יצילנה מידי | ||
| 13 I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feasts, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her appointed seasons. | IG UAShBThI KL-MShUShA ChGA ChDShA UShBThA UKL MUODA | יג והשבתי כל-משושה חגה חדשה ושבתה וכל מועדה | ||
| 14 I will lay waste her vines and her fig-trees, whereof she has said: 'These are my hire that my lovers have given me'; and I will make them a forest, and the beasts of the field shall eat them. | ID UAShMThI GFNA UThENThA EShR EMRA EThNA AMA LI EShR NThNU-LI MEABI UShMThIM LIOR UEKLThM ChITh AShDA | יד והשמתי גפנה ותאנתה אשר אמרה אתנה המה לי אשר נתנו-לי מאהבי ושמתים ליער ואכלתם חית השדה | ||
| 15 I will visit on her the days of the Baalim, wherein she offered to them, and decked herself with her ear-rings and her jewels, and went after her lovers, and forgot Me, says IAUA. | TU UFQDThI OLIA ETh-IMI ABOLIM EShR ThQTIR LAM UThOD NZMA UChLIThA UThLK EChRI MEABIA UEThI ShKChA NEM-IAUA | טו ופקדתי עליה את-ימי הבעלים אשר תקטיר להם ותעד נזמה וחליתה ותלך אחרי מאהביה ואתי שכחה נאם-יהוה | ||
| 16 Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her. | TZ LKN ANA ENKI MFThIA UALKThIA AMDBR UDBRThI OL-LBA | טז לכן הנה אנכי מפתיה והלכתיה המדבר ודברתי על-לבה | ||
| 17 I will give her her vineyards from there, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope; and she shall respond there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt. | IZ UNThThI LA ETh-KRMIA MShM UETh-OMQ OKUR LFThCh ThQUA UONThA ShMA KIMI NOURIA UKIUM OLUThA MERTs-MTsRIM | יז ונתתי לה את-כרמיה משם ואת-עמק עכור לפתח תקוה וענתה שמה כימי נעוריה וכיום עלותה מארץ-מצרים | ||
| 18 It shall be at that day, says IAUA, that you shall call Me Ishi, and shall call Me no more Baali. | ICh UAIA BIUM-AAUE NEM-IAUA ThQREI EIShI ULE-ThQREI-LI OUD BOLI | יח והיה ביום-ההוא נאם-יהוה תקראי אישי ולא-תקראי-לי עוד בעלי | ||
| 19 For I will take away the names of the Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no more be mentioned by their name. | IT UASRThI ETh-ShMUTh ABOLIM MFIA ULE-IZKRU OUD BShMM | יט והסרתי את-שמות הבעלים מפיה ולא-יזכרו עוד בשמם | ||

| 21 I will betroth you to Me for ever; yes, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness, and in justice, and in lovingkindness, and in compassion. | KE UERShThIK LI LOULM UERShThIK LI BTsDQ UBMShFT UBChSD UBRChMIM | כא וארשתיך לי לעולם וארשתיך לי בצדק ובמשפט ובחסד וברחמים | ||
| 22 I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness; and you shall know IAUA. | KB UERShThIK LI BEMUNA UIDOTh ETh-IAUA | כב וארשתיך לי באמונה וידעת את-יהוה | ||
| 23 It shall come to pass in that day, I will respond, says IAUA, I will respond to the heavens, and they shall respond to the earth; | KG UAIA BIUM AAUE EONA NEM-IAUA EONA ETh-AShMIM UAM IONU ETh-AERTs | כג והיה ביום ההוא אענה נאם-יהוה אענה את-השמים והם יענו את-הארץ | ||
| 24 The earth shall respond to the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall respond to Jezreel. | KD UAERTs ThONA ETh-ADGN UETh-AThIRUSh UETh-AITsAR UAM IONU ETh-IZROEL | כד והארץ תענה את-הדגן ואת-התירוש ואת-היצהר והם יענו את-יזרעאל | ||
