Parable of the Sword of the LORD
1 The word of IAUA came to me, saying:

2 'Son of man, set your face toward the South, and preach toward the South, and prophesy against the forest of the field in the South;

3 and say to the forest of the South: Hear the word of IAUA: Thus says my Lord IAUA, Behold, I will kindle a fire in you, and it shall devour every green tree in you, and every dry tree, it shall not be quenched, even a flaming flame; and all faces from the south to the north shall be seared thereby.
