2 Before the sun, and the light, and the moon, and the stars, are darkened, and the clouds return after the rain; B OD EShR LE-ThChShK AShMSh UAEUR UAIRCh UAKUKBIM UShBU AOBIM EChR AGShM ב עד אשר לא-תחשך השמש והאור והירח והכוכבים ושבו העבים אחר הגשם
3 In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out shall be darkened in the windows, G BIUM ShIZOU ShMRI ABITh UAThOUThU ENShI AChIL UBTLU ATChNUTh KI MOTU UChShKU AREUTh BERBUTh ג ביום שיזעו שמרי הבית והתעותו אנשי החיל ובטלו הטחנות כי מעטו וחשכו הראות בארבות

7 The dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it. Z UIShB AOFR OL-AERTs KShAIA UARUCh ThShUB EL-AELAIM EShR NThNA ז וישב העפר על-הארץ כשהיה והרוח תשוב אל-האלהים אשר נתנה
8 Vanity of vanities, says Koheleth; all is vanity. Ch ABL ABLIM EMR AQUALTh AKL ABL ח הבל הבלים אמר הקוהלת הכל הבל
9 Besides that Koheleth was wise, he also taught the people knowledge; yes, he pondered, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs. T UIThR ShAIA QALTh ChKM OUD LMD-DOTh ETh-AOM UEZN UChQR ThQN MShLIM ARBA ט ויתר שהיה קהלת חכם עוד למד-דעת את-העם ואזן וחקר תקן משלים הרבה
10 Koheleth sought to find out words of delight, and that which was written uprightly, even words of truth. I BQSh QALTh LMTsE DBRI-ChFTs UKThUB IShR DBRI EMTh י בקש קהלת למצא דברי-חפץ וכתוב ישר דברי אמת
11 The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails well fastened are those that are composed in collections; they are given from one shepherd. IE DBRI ChKMIM KDRBNUTh UKMShMRUTh NTUOIM BOLI ESFUTh NThNU MROA EChD יא דברי חכמים כדרבנות וכמשמרות נטועים בעלי אספות נתנו מרעה אחד
