| 16 Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was appalled for a while, and his thoughts affrighted him. The king spoke and said: 'Belteshazzar, let not the dream, or the interpretation, affright you.' | 26 At the end of twelve months he was walking on the royal palace of Babylon. | KU LQTsTh IRChIN ThRI-OShR OL-AIKL MLKUThE DI BBL MALK AUA | כו לקצת ירחין תרי-עשר על-היכל מלכותא די בבל מהלך הוה | ||
| 27 The king spoke, and said: 'Is not this great Babylon, which I have built for a royal dwelling-place, by the might of my power and for the glory of my majesty?' | KZ ONA MLKE UEMR ALE DE-AIE BBL RBThE DI-ENA BNIThA LBITh MLKU BThQF ChSNI ULIQR ADRI | כז ענה מלכא ואמר הלא דא-היא בבל רבתא די-אנה בניתה לבית מלכו בתקף חסני וליקר הדרי | ||
